This session will address the management of diabetes during the weight-loss process. Drs. Knopke, Rader, and Sicat will each discuss actual case examples of how they manage type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus during patient weight loss, using two different treatment approaches: lifestyle changes or pharmacotherapy. The presenters will then answer attendee questions during a panel discussion.
