Reward-induced Eating: Therapeutic Approaches to Addressing Food Cravings

Dr. Frank Greenway directs outpatient research with a focus on obesity at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. He graduated from Stanford University, obtained his medical degree from the UCLA, did his internal medicine and endocrinology training at Harbor-UCLA, and holds board certification in internal medicine and endocrinology. Dr. Greenway practiced internal medicine and endocrinology and taught at Harbor-UCLA for 20 years before coming to Pennington as a professor. He has published more than 175 articles and holds several patents. He has an interest in developing new treatments for obesity, including drugs, dietary herbal supplements, and medical foods and devices. He currently serves as President of the Obesity Treatment Foundation.
