W. Scott Butsch, MD, MSc

Dr. Butsch is an obesity medicine physician at the Massachusetts General Hospital Weight Center who has interest in the pharmacological treatment of obesity and the management of the bariatric surgical patient. His academic and research interests focus on undergraduate and post-graduate medical curriculum development and training in obesity education. He actively participates at both the state and federal levels to reduce weight stigma and improve coverage and reimbursement for obesity treatments.
